SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS

Esperanza y Tristeza no encontrarán el país de postal que buscaban ni el amor ideal en el que creían, pero su viaje por los Andes y la costa de Ecuador les mostrará que hay otros lugares y otros amores posibles.

“Qué tan lejos” es una emotiva y atípica road movie dirigida por Tania Hermida, y protagonizada con fresca naturalidad por dos actrices más que prometedoras, la española Tania Martínez y la ecuatoriana Cecilia Vallejo, y que ha supuesto descomunal éxito en su país de origen: más de 200.000 espectadores y más de 24 cosechados elogios y premios en festivales a lo largo de todo el mundo.

This is a self-discovery journey of two girls in their mid twenties while they travel along the Ecuadorian mountains and coast. Esperanza (Hope) and Tristeza (Sadness) will not find postcard views or perfect love, but their journey will teach them. There’s a world beyond that.

"How so far" is a touching and unusual road movie directed by Tania Hermida, and starring by two naturally cool but promising actresses, Spanish and Ecuadorian Tania Martinez and Cecilia Vallejo. This film has meant huge success in its home country: more than 200,000 spectators and harvested more than 24 prizes and awards in festivals throughout the world.
